Fischer AG Präzisionsspindeln (Suriname/Germany)
The core business of the Fischer AG Präzisionsspindeln is the development, manufacture and application of precision spindles. The portfolio comprises:
High frequency spindles for high speed cutting on machine tools and machining centers High frequency spindles for internal and external cylindrical and face
grinding on machine tools High frequency spindles for high speed cutting on wood and plastic routing machines APL spindles with air bearings for paint
spraying, measuring concentricity and fine machining Hydro F spindles with hydrostatic bearings for high speed/high power milling The formation of the
business took place in 1939. In 2003 the Fischer AG group reported a turnover of 28 Mio. €. At present there are 157 employees on the payroll of the Fischer AG Switzerland.
The Fischer AG Präzisionsspindeln has got special know how in the precise support of high rotational speeds. Fischer developes and produces
products according to customers specification. Typically the electric drive motor with the rotor assembled on the shaft and the stator shrink fit in the
housing is integrated in the spindle units. Depending on application and/or specification rolling bearings or hydro-/aero-static bearings are applied to support the rotating components.
The development of a high speed compressor with integrated drive motor needs the special know how as per description above.
